Surgical Veterinary Assistant

Amelia began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2012, originally supporting her general practitioner team as a kennel assistant. Her communication and attention to detail soon led her to move into a veterinary assistant role and just 4 years later focused her skills in Emergency Medicine and Specialty Surgery where for 8 years, she perfected her surgical assisting as much as she was able, working alongside board certified specialty surgeons.

Amelia is a very passionate member of the veterinary community and truly focuses on advocating for her patients and the human companions attached to them.

Caring for patients and clients brings a sense of joy and makes me feel as though I make a difference. I hope each and every pet & owner I work with feels they were given the best possible care and attention.”

‌Furthering her commitment to surgery, Amelia is working on her licensure in Wisconsin to strengthen her abilities to help her patients.

‌In Amelia’s personal time, she trains as an amateur bodybuilder, competing in the NPC federation.

‌Her personal dream and goal is to become a professional in the IFBB pro league. “I want to show people that you can follow your dreams both in your career and personal life. Nothing is impossible.”
