Soft Tissue Surgery for Dogs & Cats

Minimally Invasive Pet Surgery in Phoenix

Soft tissue surgery for dogs and cats is simply a surgery not related to bones or joints and encompasses a wide range of procedures.

This includes surgeries related to abdominal organs, thoracic organs, airway passages, endocrine glands, skin, and cancer. At CARE Surgery Center, our goal is to provide the highest standard of care by offering minimally invasive surgery options for dogs, cats, and other companion animals.

Helping Your Dog or Cat Recover From Surgery

While many dogs and cats receive an injectable antibiotic at the time of surgery, most procedures related to soft tissue do not require antibiotic therapy post-surgery. Judicious use of antibiotics is important in our fight against antibiotic resistance.

Do not be surprised if your pet is not prescribed an oral antibiotic after surgery. However, should signs of infection become apparent, notify your primary care veterinarian immediately and an antibiotic may be prescribed.
