Dr. Samantha Parkinson
DVM, DACVIM / Internist
Dr. Samantha Parkinson graduated with her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, Colorado. After her internship, she moved to Knoxville for her small animal internal medicine residency. From there, she returned to Denver and worked as an internist at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital for 7 years. We are happy to say, that she moved to Arizona and joined the CARE team in 2023.
Dr. Parkinson is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Her professional interests include gastrointestinal disease as well as minimally invasive procedures. She is passionate about teaching what she has learned as well as constantly evolving and learning new things!
In her spare time, Dr. Parkinson enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs in the great outdoors of Arizona.
